Community Health Accreditation Program

Community Health Accreditation Program
High Desert Hospice is one of only nine Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) Accredited Hospice Agencies in the state of New Mexico. CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care.

We at High Desert Hospice take patient care very seriously and wish to do all we can to ensure that we are continually going above and beyond every standard of excellence set within the hospice community.

Maintaining a CHAP Accreditation for High Desert Hospice is a primary example of our strong desire and commitment to always excel in the quality of our patient care, develop ways to stay current with trends in hospice utilization, and to continuously improve the overall quality of our service organization.

With love and appreciation!

Thank you so much Sarah Crutchfield and your amazing, dedicated staff. You all gave Dale the very best care we could ask for. We are grateful for nurses, Kay R., Cherie, and Kimberly who would come back same day to again care for Dale because he had a second fall. We enjoyed the many visits from Chaplain Regina who is a good listener & can chase away the tears. Thanks for the nice card you all signed and sent. Whether our paths cross again or not, we will always remember how much you cared for our beloved Dale.
